The Legacy Program

The Legacy Program represents the confluence of the art and science of learning, teaching, and practicing Pilates at the highest level. Structured in four distinct phases, this program offers a personal and life-changing exploration into the most advanced and diverse repertoire, along with an in-depth study of the teaching nuances of the Pilates method. It provides a unique and enriching journey for those committed to mastering their craft.

Mentor Program

Phase 1 of the BASI Pilates Legacy Program, Mentor, is designed for seasoned professionals to refine their teaching skills and deepen their mastery of Pilates.

The initial phase of the Legacy Program is a three-day intensive experience that explores the most advanced aspects of the Pilates Method. Guided by seasoned BASI Faculty, students embark on a journey of discovery and personal growth, gaining valuable insights and the latest techniques in the field.

With an emphasis on hands-on learning and personalized instruction, this phase provides a unique opportunity to deepen understanding and mastery of the Pilates Method.

This course includes 18 hours of instruction and learning and is approved by the NCPC for 18 CECs.

  • Program Structure

Day One

Primary concepts covered include teaching methodology, the art of cueing, cueing as a process, as well as a discussion on higher principles. New repertoire will be taught on the Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and Step Barrel.
