Australia Fundraiser Mat Class Highlights

If there’s one thing that means more to us than anything, it’s family. When we heard about the devastating bushfires in Australia, we decided to pull together to help our BASI Australia family and coordinate a fundraiser to contribute to the fire relief efforts.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended the sold out Australia Fundraiser Mat Class with Rael Isacowitz this past Saturday. We livestreamed the entire class from our YouTube Channel so everyone all over the world could participate in solidarity with our BASI family in Australia. We appreciate the efforts our international community put forth to wake up very early, in some cases the middle of the night, to do the Mat class with us—like this group at Cairns Pilates Barre in Cairns, Australia who moved along with us at 4am local time!

100% of the proceeds from this class, along with all online donations made through our GoFundMe campaign, will be sent to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to help with the Australian bushfire relief efforts (as selected by Rael Isacowitz’s dog, Shiloh, who made a special guest appearance at the Mat class!). Over 1 billion animals have perished in the fires, with more expected to pass away from lack of resources in their ruined habitats.
